Wavefield Artists 2026 - Saturday Afternoon Sept. 26, 2026
Allinesik
Allinesik is an ambient++noise artist from Regina, SK. Their art is shaped by the experience of travelling across the country on the Trans-Canada Highway; including the time spent in serene/eerie towns, and spontaneous stops along the way to take in the alluring sights and become one with the natural world. While this project is shaped by moments of beauty and awe, it is also largely shaped by mental turmoil, departure from reality, and anguish. Following a 21 date tour across Canada this summer, Allinesik is thrilled to play their homecoming show at Wavefield.
Stacy Tinant
Stacy Tinant is a Saskatoon based multi-instrumentalist, most known for playing with The Moon Runners. He blends intense, frantic beats with organic sounds, melodic synths, granulated samples, and dizzying, glitchy sound design. Hypnotic-bug music-IDM for fans of Four Tet, Aphex Twin, and Cwondo.
Jeff Morton
Jeff Morton is a musician, composer, and media artist based in rural southeast Saskatchewan, Treaty 2 territory, land of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Assiniboine, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the traditional homeland of the Métis Nation. Jeff’s work explores country music, sound experimentation, instrument building, and voice. Having performed at festivals, galleries, and venues across Canada and internationally since 2001, Jeff continues to find opportunities for solo and collaborative creation as a means of encountering new sounds and new learnings.
In the past year, Jeff has shown his work at Conseil culturel fransaskois’ annual event Fête, as well as with the Saskatoon Experimental Music Ensemble at PAVED Arts, at the Free Radical Music Series (Art Bar, Saskatoon), for the Grid Roads songwriter’s concert at Carlyle Memorial Hall, and in performance with sound ensemble La Belle Pacte at Âjagemô Exhibition Space in Ottawa.
